You will begin your half-day tour after picking you up from the hotel by having a Private English Egyptologist guide take you to see the Karnak temples, the most significant instance of ancient worship in history, dedicated to Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The palace was built from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman period. Then proceed to the Luxor Temple. Ramesses II completed it during the 19th Dynasty after having begun it during the 18th Dynasty under Amunhotep III. In the 19th Dynasty, King Ramses II is one of the most famous kings. Egypt was ruled by him for about 67 years. There are three pillars, one for each of the Theban triad: Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. In front of the 1st Pylon, take a look at the impressive Ramses II Obelisk.
